Broken Promises so far

As of March 21, Trudeau has been in office for 139 days, he has managed to break 5 promises so far.

  1. Develop a new National Early Learning and Child Care Framework to deliver affordable, high-quality, flexible, and inclusive child care for Canadian families – this work will begin in the first 100 days of a Liberal government and is to be funded through investments in social infrastructure.
  2. Run short-term deficits of less than $10 billion in each of the next two fiscal years (2016 and 2017).
  3. The 2016 middle class tax cut combined with the new 33% tax bracket will be revenue neutral.
  4. Welcome 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of 2015.
    Federal government spent $6 million upgrading military bases for Syrian refugees who didn’t stay there
  5. Immediately implement the imported gun marking regulations.
