Freeland set to tackle Wexit and Western Canada while the Mayor of Calgary calls Wexit idiotic.

CPP203 – Military Grade

This week David, Marty, and Andrew get together to talk about how the government is wasteful. Canada’s debt level is now the highest in the developed world. Ontario spent  $10 million on cannabis stores that never opened. Arrests follow an activist group’s breaking into a sled dogs kennel in Alberta. More than one-third of people shot to death over a decade by RCMP officers were Indigenous. Winnipeg police seize 20 guns with military grade bullets Scarborough teens charged and a rifle seized after a food delivery driver robbed.Ottawa police returned 850seized guns to a collector. Guns and white supremacists don’t mix, plus everyone I hate is a bigot. More handwringing over Toronto violence.  Albertans are not whining the economy is really failing, and Kenney calls out Quebec’s use of equalization payments after Blanchet’s meeting with Trudeau.

CPP202 – You People

This week Ian and Andrew go it alone, just Like Albertans are threatening to do. Elizabeth May stepped down as leader of the Green Party Alberta government ends right to sue law-abiding property owners for causing injury while defending their property. Quebec is set to receive $13 billion in equalization payments next year after posting a $4 billion surplus. Toronto’s health board poised to ask province for ban on the sale of handgun ammunition. Kitchener police seize 250 guns, and 200,000 rounds of ammunition. Toronto experiences another day light shooting. The panel also covers the failure of the New Zealand gun ban. Alberta addresses separatist sentiment by studying measures that would give province more autonomy.

This week Ian, Gavin, Marty, Tim, and Andrew make up the panel. A story broke today that Canadians’ water is filled with lead. Two pimps will not serve any prison time as a judge strikes down mandatory minimum sentence for trafficking minors. Despite theft from JTF2 base of $23,000 worth of gun parts, equipment, military says rules were followed.
