Subject:Discipline Equals Freedom
Jocko’s book… bland, black & white, heavy pages, odd format…
I don’t know, but when I first picked up Jockc’s book, I thought to myself.. “Hmm.. this looks & feels exactly like a FIELD MANUAL”
Which I am sure is the look they were going for.
Maybe I am mistaken, but listening to you guys critiquing the look of the book,
this ‘field manual’ concept and feel.. seemed to have evaded you?
On a side note, to anyone who has young kids or grandchildren, Jocko’s book series “The way of the Warrior Kid” is something I would highly recommend. It conveys strong values and a moral code to live by day-to-day in such a way that children can easily embrace.
With some of the unbelievably twisted logic they are trying to pile on kids as young as the first grade these days, reading Jocko’s series with a child is like a sanity refuge.

I just put out some flashcards to teach preppers the practical (not geeky technical) stuff they need to know about ham radio. Too many preppers view ham radio as some complicated hill that’s too high to climb; PAM Radio tells them what they need to know in about 45 minutes and includes links to specific vetted radios and accessories that will work. PAM Radio is a God-send to preppers trying to check “comms” off their (long) prepping to-do list.
The info in PAM Radio is 95% applicable to Canadian hams. The 5% concerns US radio regulations.
