Intro

Hello to all of our listeners out there in podcast land, and welcome to episode 23 of the Canadian Patriot Podcast, recorded April 11, 2016.

Gavin a business owner, gun enthusiast, hunter, atheist and host of the Greater Toronto Area chapter of the Tactical Beard Owners Club

Tyler co-founder and co-host of the International Liberty or Death Podcast. Tyler has been shooting for 10 years as a both a casual and sport shooter, and as a hunter. He identifies politically as a Libertarian.

Jeff a married father of one, working as a skilled trade in the construction industry. He’s been an avid firearms enthusiast for the last 5 years. He enjoys competing in IPSC, ORA, 3Gun and Cowboy Action Shooting. Jeff is on the board of directors at his gun club.

Craig has 20 years law enforcement experience. 5 years in corrections and 15 as a police officer with a large GTA service. Craig also a firearms enthusiast and Competitive shooter. He has been shooting CQB since the end of the 2011 season and this year he plans to compete in Service Rifle

-I find Andrew’s voice annoying. Not sure if it’s his actual voice or just the way he talks, but it annoys me. Seeing as it’s his podcast, I guess there’s not much we can do about that.

-The bullet ricochet sounds censoring the curse words are pretty god damn annoying as well. Especially when someone says a lot of curse words together in a sentence. Also, I don’t understand the point of them. Like do you really care about not getting an explicit rating on iTunes? We’re all adults (or at least should be) listening to this, why censor at all? Finally, if you do censor, at least be consistent and censor out everything. In the last episode as well as some early ones there were a lot that you missed.

-What is the point of giving a detailed description of everyone at the beginning of each episode? I think we know who and what they are by now, and if people don’t and actually care I’m sure they’ll find out.

-Way to waste bandwidth on the 3 minute long outro song that nobody listens to. Again, what’s the point? (Also, last two episodes there was the outro and then about 30 minutes of dead air, and then the outro again).

This all being said, the content has been excellent and I can’t say I’ve ever disagreed with what was being said. Even the weed episode was pretty interesting. Also, if you have Shawn Bevins on again, tell him I love his passion but he needs to calm down a bit. I don’t want him to have a heart attack, we need him lol.
