Great discussion as usual. I am just as shocked and frustrated that the Turdhole is still actually in the running. I think it is illustrative of the physical and cultural divide in the West in general; urbanized university educated elites programmed to believe that their general arts degree qualifies them as an expert in all matters.
As well the liberals have been buying the ethnic vote by nearly 400,000 people a year; Parliamentary seats are a function of population not necessarily eligible voters. It isn’t going to get any better.
So if the Liberals get in again or form a coalition with the extreme left in a minority ( as Ian mentioned) situation we are absolutely fucked.
Maybe it’s time for us to consider the Central Canadian Republic consisting of the blue areas of Ontario west to the BC border. No doubt we could get free speech and the right to bear arms in that constitution. We then just have to build a wall around the GTA and invade BC when the fuckers realize they can’t live off pot and magic mushrooms. And who gives a shit about Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
