There is a load of gun news this week; Polls show division amongst Canadians on handgun and assault weapons bans, gang bangers in Toronto getting it to shoot outs. Most bizarrely Canada’s National Firearms Association is suing the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights over alleged copyright infringements and immediately backpedaled when counter sued and is now claiming victim status.

CPP177 – Teachers are Heros
This week Marty, Gavin, Better Andrew, Benny, Tim, and Andrew join the panel. A big part of the news is the alleged cuts to Ontario teachers and education, a wapping 3%. The panel also covers the price of gas in BC, bullets fired at the home of a Toronto City Councillor, federal government hunt for the person that leaked Omar Khadr’s $10.5 million settlement, and the ongoing opioid epidemic.

This week the panel is graced by Random Dave and his BCL./NEA Christmas Miracle. Ian, Marty, Gavin, and Andrew round the panel out. Trudeau apologizes after telling First Nations mercury poisoning protester, ‘Thank you for your donation’. Women at B.C. Legislature told to cover up. Kenney talk self-defense for Albertans. Adrienne Clarkson seeks to salvage CWHL. The LCBO lost $77M of booze. Brampton council rejects gun buyback plan, while Peel Police arrest a career criminal distributing narcotics, but had 60 illegal guns in his possession. The panel speculates wildly on the pending Alberta election because of listener email.

This week Andrew is absent and possibly in the hospital. Gavin leads the panel, of Ian, Marty, Sean, Liberal Tim, and Benny. Lots of news to cover this week. The Clerk of the Privy Council “retires” a Liberal MP quits, and the Crime Minister breaks House rules by eating in the chamber. The RCMP are rebuked for posting misleading information about registering guns before C-71 becomes law, and the Ontario Provincial Police reminder citizens how Amber Alerts don’t work. Halifax PD lost a duty pistol. A gun store owner in Cambridge was attacked by a knife wielding suspect who appears to have tried for suicide by cop. Ford government claims increased class sizes will be best for students. Omar Khadar’s sentence ends, the Humboldt crash driver is sentenced. A TTC bus crashes into a home, and a MAGA hat disrupts a vigil in Toronto.
CPP174 – Zero Conversions
This week Ian, Gavin, Tim, and Andrew form the panel. They cover special forces recruiting, that RCMP losing another gun, $11M federal dollars to help Toronto’s guns and Gangs task force, Brad Blair being released from his position with the OPP, and Ontario banning cell phones in classrooms. The lugenpresse is also up to their usual hijinks with vaccine exemptions for students and increased costs for Toronto’s new smaller city council, at least until you read the details of both stories.
