‘Everybody Has to Have Guns,’ Says Eagles of Death Metal Frontman as Band Returns to Paris
November 13, 2015, 90 people dead at Bataclan concert hall in Paris France
It was one of a series of attacks in Paris that night in which 130 people died, which the Islamic State terrorist group later claimed responsibility for.
Hughes — a long-time advocate for access to gun ownership — told French television station iTélé that gun control did not save lives.
“Did your French gun control stop a single fucking person from dying at the Bataclan? And if anyone can answer yes, I’d like to hear it, because I don’t think so. I think the only thing that stopped it was some of the bravest men that I’ve ever seen in my life charging head-first into the face of death with their firearms.”
Topic – Ontario’s 2016 Budget
Cap and Trade
+4.3 cents per liter to gasoline
+$5 per month for natural gas
+156 annual increase per household, total cost left out of the budget
Revenue from the cap-and-trade auction set for next year will be used to “protect” consumers from an electricity rate hike and could even lead to rates going down, Wynne said, adding she expects the program won’t increase electricity costs for the industrial and commercial sectors.
Expected 1.3 billion dollars in revenue to lower greenhouse gas emissions
carbon pricing is most costly least efficient way to to impose cap and trade
big polluters are being given free carbon credits
based on EU model, Emissions Trading Scheme
Free carbon credits completely undermine the purpose of cap-and-trade, which is to put a price on industrial carbon dioxide emissions.
government estimated cost of $18/per ton, but can not be known until auction starts.
consumer costs will increase over time as allowable emissions are reduced

I know it’s a bit late but I just finished ep 17 and I was thinking if there are multiple type and used for different reasons couldn’t the lcbo distribut the “recreational” plants and the pharmacys carry the medical stuff? That way if you are taking it for a problem the pharmacist and tell you what and how to take it. Pretty much like any other drug.
