This week Benny from New Shooter Canada joins the panel to talk with Gavin about their SHOT show adventure. Marty, Sean and Andrew are still on the panel but didn’t got to SHOT. The Panel talks about the end of expansion on Canada Post’s community mailbox program, and the RCMP being fined following the deaths of Moncton officers in 2014. The big topic this week is #MeToo sweeping Ontario and Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown leaving politics after allegations of sexual misconduct.
Month: January 2018
CPP116 – Helicopters, so to speak
This week is joined as always by his trusty co-host Marty. They talk about new beer taxes, a vancouver restaurants whiskey being seized, Quebec school guide for gender non-conforming students. Canada Summer Jobs Grant not being available to organisations that don’t support abortion. Today’s breaking firearms news, 10 Round Hexmags being prohibited with logic that makes not sense. Marty and Andrew address listener feedback about helicopter seating capacity. Buckle up!
CPP115 – Vets left in the Cold
Colin joins the panel this week to talk about his protest. No, not that kind of protest. Colin is a Veteran that is organising CA Vets – Left in the Cold, taking place at Parliament hill 15 February at 10:00?16:00. The panel also gets a bunch of feedback and the Matador Arms winner is announced. The panel discusses the hijab hoax that took place in Toronto last week where an 11 year old girl told police that a man cut her hijab off.
CPP114 – Just the tip
This week Marty, Gavin, and Andrew give you the tip, just the tip, when it comes to the impacts of the new Ontario Minimum wage after its first week in place. Business are cutting hours, changing tip out rules, and Tim Hortons is an evil bourgeois megalith as some franchises cut other benefits in the wake of the minimum wage hike. If you like what we do you could tip us a loonie at https://www.patreon.com/cpp.
